Portland Head Light - Fort Williams

We spent a couple hours at Fort Williams on Cape Elizabeth Friday touring the grounds surrounding Portland Head Light.  I have been coming to Maine for about 60 years and had never been there - it is a well maintained very photogenic place - a good place to try out my new camera.   The first photo is of the remains of the Goddard Mansion (see second pic for description -click on pics to enlarge).





 These next two pictures were taken with a 300mm lens from about 1/3 of a mile away.
