This is the first post in a while because we had some internet connectivity issues - they have been mostly resolved now.
The first picture is of Trickey Pond at about 7 AM Saturday morning, the day we left Loons Haven Campground. The leaves were starting to change and there was a little fog rising as the warm water met the cool morning air.
We had an uneventful trip to Hadley, Massachusetts where we boondocked at a Walmart. Most Walmarts allow RVers to park overnight while traveling. We spoke with the manager and got her blessing - no issues with the overnight stay. We did buy a few things in the store so we didn't feel guilty about staying for free. We ran the furnace overnight as it was quite cold - this was a good test for our solar panels and batteries. The panels did their job and recharged the batteries as we were traveling the next day.

We left Walmart Sunday AM and traveled to Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania where we stayed at the Mohican Sun Casino. We had quite an adventure finding a place to fuel up when we left Hadley, MA. Most of the filling stations weren't large enough to allow access for the truck and trailer - we eventually found one though and were on our way about an hour behind schedule. Most Casinos also allow free overnight stays and sometimes extended stays for Rvers. At Walmart it is frowned upon to open your slides but this was not a problem at the Casino so it was much more comfortable. This was another cold night and we had to run the furnace quite a bit but it only drained the batteries about 25% so the solar panels didn't have any problem charging them up as we traveled to PA the next day. We are not gamblers but we did go in and have something to eat and put a few bucks into the slot machines - just enough so we didn't feel guilty about staying for free.

Monday AM we left Wilkes Barre. We found an easy in easy out Sheetz right near the casino where we were able to get fuel with no problems and had an uneventful trip to York, Pennsylvania where we will be staying at Ben Franklin Campground for a while.
